Maile Garden and Luau Garden Wedding Ceremony

We are pleased to offer the Maile Garden and Luau Garden for your wedding ceremony. For Wedding Ceremonies held in 2016, the rental fee for use of either garden is $700.00. For Wedding Ceremonies held in 2017, the rental fee for the use of either garden is $750.00.

The rental fee includes the following

     • Fifty (50) chairs for guests (Note: Additional chairs are available at $1.00 per chair, up to a maximum of 100 chairs total)
     • One (1) standing microphone and portable speaker for the minister
     • White wedding gazebo
     • Recorded processional & recessional music (optional)

The Maile Garden is available for use only by those holding a wedding reception in the DeRussy Hall, Waikiki Ballroom, Banyan Tree Showroom, Kalia or Laulima banquet rooms.
The Luau Garden is available for use by those holding a wedding reception in the Luau Garden.

Ceremonies may be held in the morning between 9:30am-11:00am (for luncheon receptions) or in the afternoon between 4:30pm-6:00pm (for dinner receptions).

Picture taking in the Maile Garden or Luau Garden can be done before or after your ceremony. Picture taking is allowed in other areas of the hotel property if prearranged and approved in advance by the Catering Office.

There is no back-up room reserved in the event of inclement weather. However, in case the weather is inclement on your wedding day, you must notify either the Catering Office or the Hotel Assistant Manager at least three (3) hours prior to the scheduled ceremony start time with your decision to relocate the ceremony indoors or under cover (luau garden). If decision to move the ceremony indoors or under cover (luau garden) is made less than three (3) hours prior to the ceremony start time, every effort will be made to accommodate your request, but please expect a delay and a labor fee ranging from $100.00 to $300.00 to be charged.
Note: If you are having your ceremony in the Maile Garden, and there is a banquet room that is vacant at the time of your ceremony, we will relocate your ceremony to that room. If all banquet rooms are reserved, your ceremony will need to be held in your reception room. If you are having your ceremony in the Luau Garden, we will relocate your ceremony to the covered stage or if available, Hale 5. We will do our best to set up the reception room by your ceremony start time, however, please anticipate a slight delay.

Ceremony deposit is due two (2) weeks from the date we accept your reservation and is non-refundable. The deposit for the ceremony site will not be applied to reception charges.

You may schedule a rehearsal for your ceremony. Date and time for the rehearsal is subject to availability of the garden.

From intimate gatherings of 25 to extravagant receptions with hundreds of guests, we offer a variety of indoor and outdoor venues to accommodate your event.
